Macphies Sponge Cake Mix is easy to make but produces a delicious, moist and light sponge! This mix is versatile and can be used to make Swiss rolls, moist fatless sponges and Victoria sponges.

Choose from a wide range of toppings and fillings from Macphies like Sweet Snow or Luxury Fillings to add a delicious flavour and finish to your bakes.

The 10kg bag of Sponge Mix is excellent for bakeries, cafes or restaurants as it yields a great price per KG, offering great profitability.

For a delicious Sponge Cake (per 1000g sponge mix, 500ml water):

1. Add the water to Sponge Mix and whisk on slow speed for 1 minute.
2. Scrape down and whisk on middle speed for 10 15 minutes or top speed for 5 10 minutes followed by 1 2 minutes on slow speed.
3. For fatless Sponges, deposit 160g into a 15cm round tin and bake at 190 200C for approximately 18 minutes.
