Originally, it was prepared using pomegranate seeds, sugar and water, but is now predominantly made using fruit juices including blackcurrant.

Grenadine Syrup is used all over the world to provide colour and flavour to a variety of different grenadine cocktails & mocktails. The slightly tart flavour adds complexity to a range of different drinks, making it a popular ingredient in classic cocktails like the Shirley temple or Tequila Sunrise. You can also add a fruity twist to lemonades, iced teas, smoothies and desserts.
