Macphies Scone Mix is simple to make and offers excellent value with a delightful result every time! The delicate and light crumb will have customers coming back for more.

Add a simple finish with Macphies Sweet Snow or add one of our delicious fillings for extra sweetness and a mouth watering flavour!

This easy to make mix will take additions such as dried fruit at 20 30% of the dough weight. In addition, adding 60g of yeast per 1 kg of mix will produce an even fluffier, softer result.

How to make (per 1kg of mix with 420ml of water):

1. Using a beater, mix for 1 minute on the first speed, scrape down, followed by 30 seconds on the second speed
2. Roll out dough and cut out shapes as required
3. Allow to rest for at least 15 minutes before baking
4. Bake for approximately 12 minutes at 230°C or on a hot plate for 3 minutes 30 seconds each side at 200°C
